Free Fun Tampa: Tampa Bay Lightning Fan Fest

Looking for things to do this weekend? The Tampa Bay Lightning will be hosting their 2009 Fan Fest this Saturday, August 29th, at the St. Pete Times Forum from 3-8 PM. Fans will be able to to participate in games, autograph sessions, and Q&A's with several of the Bolt's players. The main event of the night will be a charity scrimmage and auction that will benefit the Corporal Mike Roberts Memorial Fund. Corporal Mike Roberts was a Tampa police officer that was recently killed in the line of duty. The game will feature current and former Lightning players along with former teammates from Corporal Robert's Tampa Police Department Hockey Team. This will be a great free event in order to honor a local hero and help the Tampa Bay Lightning start their season off right!
